Oldham Weather Forecast: Sunny and Warm Before Bank Holiday Weather Turns Cooler (30 April–4 May)

Good news for anyone who was hoping the weather would be better over the coming few days for the outdoor activities of the remaining days in April, from the latest Oldham Weather Forecast. There will be some pleasant spring weather with plenty of sunshine and enjoyable temperatures into Thursday, and much of Friday as a spell of settled weather continues, with only a few brisk windy interludes. For the second half of April, it has been a dry month following a wet start, with sunny spells building in the countryside, gardens and parks. This warm spell looks set to last for another few days, but there are signs that the coming Bank Holiday weekend will bring more changeable weather, with High pressure starting to weaken. Friday is to be another good spring day with long spells of sunshine throughout Oldham. It will be a fair wind all day long, but it will be nice and warm in sheltered spots with sunny skies. A varied day today with sunny spells in the morning across much of Oldham, but increasing heating in the day will bring cloud in during the afternoon. The weather will be slightly cooler than Friday, with temperatures reaching around 18°C, with light to moderate winds keeping conditions comfortable. Even with the variable weather, expect a few good times to be had enjoying outdoor events in the morning and early afternoon.

Sunday

The most unpredictable day in the forecast period is Sunday. Forecast guidance for the present suggests a weather system could spread north over the southern portion of the UK. If this system continues to move westwards as it is doing, there may be a few spells of rain in Oldham in the afternoon or evening. If the rain stays further southeast, though, many areas will instead have a mix of bright spells, variable cloud and just a few isolated showers.
